How do you access the Akashic Records?

Helen has taken classes in reading the Akashic Records from two different teachers.  She currently uses the Opening Prayer in Linda Howe's book.  This book contains the opening prayers to read the Akashic Records for yourself and for others.  Great way to explore your spiritual path!

What kind of reading is it?

It is a "bigger picture" reading, and people are usually focused on more spiritual questions when they choose to do this.  What is my purpose in this lifetime?  What is the meaning of my relationship with my children/spouse/person I struggle to get along with?  
It accesses a greater source of wisdom.
